Although there are many known facts about the BEA family’s philanthropic activities, there are special treasure troves of many such deeds, told and untold stories, and events that have occurred over the past 70 years. These efforts led to the creation of institutions, programmes, and futuristic ideas for the alleviation of distress, with the advancement of society and the good of humanity at their common core. SS CARE Trust is one among them, close to our hearts and at the centre of our soul of BEA. Flagged under visionary leadership of our beloved Appaji and SSM Sir it stems from an age-old value system; a system that underlines the duty of the powerful and wealthy to help those less fortunate than themselves. Under the dedication of its constituent affiliates of the Bapuji family, the leadership of its Life Trustees consisting of our very own Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun, Governing Council Member, BEA - it steers towards societal transformation in the spheres of health and education.

Established in the year 2019 with a vision to realize the concept of health empowerment through knowledge and care, aiming to have a positive multiplier effect on physical, social, and cultural aspects of development in the community. Inspired by the values of its Chief Architect and Patron, Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappaji, the Trust aims to promote and provide healthcare to people across various sections of the society. Based in Davangere, Central Karnataka, with initiatives spread across the state of Karnataka, prioritising healthcare, and ensuring equal access to quality services, the Trust strives to address social inequalities and contribute to the overall development of the region.
